The meaning of CAN is in the name: CAN stands for 'Controller Area Network' and allows different controllers to connect to each other and coordinate communication between them. Anyone familiar with e-bikes knows that there are many different components. This makes it all the more exciting to be able to give our customers maximum remote control over their e-bikes.

In the case of our customer CYCLE, this opens up completely new possibilities for fleet management. Our solution not only ensures that important maintenance data can be accessed at all times, but also offers enhanced security features and the ability to remotely update bike components.

Maintenance data under control

Important vehicle information such as mileage can be read directly. This data helps CYCLE to continuously monitor the maintenance status of the e-bikes and give early warning of necessary repairs. The result: fewer breakdowns and greater fleet availability.

Anti-theft at the touch of a button

In the event of theft, the e-bike's motor can be deactivated remotely. Without motorised assistance, the stolen bike is virtually unusable, significantly increasing the chances of a quick recovery and improving fleet security.

Remote component updates

In addition to monitoring the bike's data, deep integration allows us to update technical components such as the motor controller or display. This saves a lot of time: not only are new features available more quickly, but there is also no need for a time-consuming trip to the workshop.

Our e-bikes are specifically designed for courier riders. The collaboration with IoT Venture paves the way for digital fleet management,' says Nikodemus Seilern, co-founder of CYCLE.
